Many–Body Aspects of Approach to Equilibrium

چکیده
In 1956 Mark Kac [5] invented a microscopic, linear model, from which the nonlinear Boltzmann equation describing the evolution of the velocity distribution for a system of colliding particles could be rigorously derived. Consider N particles in one dimension that interact through random collisions. We consider the spatially homogeneous case only, i.e., the case where the particles are uniformly distributed in configuration space, since our focus, as was Kac’s, is on the collision mechanism. The collisions in the model are binary. When the i-th and j-th particles collide, their pre–collisional velocities vi and vj are transformed into the post collisional velocities

Green tax effect on Iran’s health sector: A general equilibrium approach
Despite positive aspects of energy consumption, their negative externalities i.e., environmental pollutions, are considerable. Green taxes, paid for products and services that are not environmentally friendly, are recommended as an efficient way of improving health indices. Since, Iran is among the countries with high per capita consumption of energy, pollution can be a kind of threat. In this ...
متن کاملManifestation of Alchemy Symbols in Corresponding with Islamic Mysticism and Art
From the beginning of photography, various views were presented about the relationship between the body and photography, most of which focused on body as the subject of photography. Although such views address significant aspects of photography, very few studies have concentrated on the photographer’s body in creating works of art. Focusing on the concept of bodily perception, which is a bodily...
متن کاملMonetary and Fiscal Policy Interaction in Iran: A Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium Approach
Achieving the goals of price stability, sustainable economic growth, and the improvement of many economic variables require coordination between the monetary and financial authorities. In this study, a new modified Keynesian stochastic dynamic equilibrium general equilibrium model is introduced for Iran and in the framework of game theory, optimal policy of fiscal and monetary authorities are d...
متن کاملField Theory of Non-equilibrium Systems
The physics of non-equilibrium many-body systems is one of the most rapidly expanding areas of theoretical physics. Traditionally used in the study of laser physics and superconducting kinetics, these techniques have more recently found applications in the study of dynamics of cold atomic gases, mesoscopic and nano-mechanical systems. The book gives a self-contained presentation of the modern f...
متن کاملThe Effects of Energy Efficiency Improvements in the Electricity Sector on the Iranian Economy: A Computable General Equilibrium Approach
Improving energy efficiency is one of the most important energy policies in many countries. This study mainly focused on the economic and environmental effects of energy efficiency improvements in Iran’s electricity sector on Iran’s economy using a computable general equilibrium framework. Furthermore, the potential benefits of carbon reduction were explored. The results showed that the most si...
